Meredith and I went rock climbing today at one of the nearby karsts. It was raining but the rocks above stuck out so we were covered, thus the rain was not a problem. The weather actually made the scenery even more spectacular when you looked out from the top of the route. We had a guide, Hua, and one other climber with us, Martin, both spoke English conversationally which made the afternoon even more fun. After climbing we went back to the shop where Hua made us some local tea. The tea was pleasant but I was skeptical when I first saw it. It wasn't just tea leaves but also tea sticks and branches that were flavoring the water. If I have the chance I will have it again for sure.
